Type 2 Photography

What is type 2 photography?

In short, it’s telling your story in the most non-traditional way imaginable. Everyone can have an amazing sunset family portrait from the local park, but who has magazine quality shots of them doing the things they love most, from campfire smores to high mountain adventures.

So, what is your story? What is the thing that brings you joy, where do you show up as your complete self? Or more simply, what do you simply enjoy doing? What are your hobbies or interests, and have you ever considered having something more than a hastily shot iPhone picture of yourself doing it?

Maybe it’s fly-fishing Colorado’s rivers and streams, maybe it’s a serene sunrise yoga session, a snowshoe hike across newly fallen snow, or a brutal HIIT workout at your favorite gym or box.

Or do you enjoy more of the true type 2 flavor of fun? Is your thing rock climbing, mountain biking, or white-water kayaking? Maybe it’s descending technical slot canyons in Utah or back-country skiing or snowboarding.

Whatever it is, Scott possesses the knowledge, skills, and experience to capture you doing what you love to do.

Details

Process:

Just like that of a normal family portrait session… plus helmets, so yea, totally normal.

We’ll setup a consultation to discuss the activity and your vision. We’ll determine the best time and place to meet and go from there.

The session will include:

- Pre-shoot consultation and collaboration.

- Your own personalized online gallery you can share with all your friends and family.

- Unlimited use and print release for all your images. Meaning you can use or print the images however, whenever, and as many times as you wish.

- 24-to-48 hour turn around on a few "best of" images for sharing on your social media.

Rates:

Every adventure will be different and the level of investment will be proportional to the amount of time and level of technicality, suffering, and risk required to being your adventure to life.
